U.S. State Privacy Laws Addendum to Google Controller-Controller Data Protection Terms

The Utah Consumer Privacy Act, Utah Code Ann. § 13-61-101 et seq. went into effect on January 1, 2023. The UCPA applies to the sale of personal data and targeted advertising, and defines what does and does not include a sale: “the exchange of personal data for monetary consideration by a controller to a third party.” Please refer to the U.S. State Privacy Laws Addendum to Google Controller-Controller Data Protection Terms for more information.
