Making Navigation SDKs more accessible with new pricing

Navigation SDK header

This year we announced exciting new updates to the Navigation SDKs for Android and iOS. First, we released visual road level details providing you with highly detailed road information to help your users understand their environment and navigate with confidence. Next, we released real-time disruptions and an enhanced adaptive turn card design to enhance driver awareness and modernize the driver experience. We’ve also been working on making our SDKs accessible to more organizations—whether you’re a start-up, small business, or large organization with navigation at its core.

Starting today, we’re rolling out new pricing for our Navigation SDKs, ensuring even more businesses can  build helpful experiences with our geospatial data.

Per Destination Pricing

We’ve reduced the per destination cost of the Google Maps Platform Navigation SDKs by half or more.

Volume Pricing

We’re giving everyone the ability to unlock volume discounts more quickly by reducing the number of calls required to reach those discounts.

Usage Cap

The usage cap will remain the same, with 1,000 billable events or destinations per month available at no cost.

We hope these changes will encourage even more innovation and empower more start-ups and fast-growing small businesses to use our Navigation SDKs to help their users navigate the world around them. To estimate pricing for your projects, check out the pricing calculator.
