Starting March 1, 2025, we have streamlined our offerings by organizing them into three easy-to-understand categories: Essentials, Pro, and Enterprise. We have also replaced the USD $200 monthly credit with free monthly calls per SKU across Essentials, Pro and Enterprise. Additionally, we are making more volume discounts available online. Requests can either be calls to the API, or load events of maps or panoramas. User interactions like zooming or panning are not charged. See Google Maps Platform Billing for more details.

When you click the Get started or Create an account button you are prompted to select one or more products (Maps, Routes, and/or Places). Each product you select enables a set of APIs. You can use as many of these APIs as you like:

  • Maps: Maps SDK for Android; Maps SDK for iOS; Maps JavaScript API; Maps Static API; Street View API; Maps Embed API.

  • Routes: Maps JavaScript API, Directions API; Distance Matrix API; Roads API.

  • Places: Places API, Places Library, Maps JavaScript API; Geocoding API; Geolocation API; Time zones API; Elevation API.
